After a change in ownership, this local football club set out to modernise its online presence and connect with a wider audience. We were brought in to take their social media from traditional matchday updates to a consistent stream of engaging, entertaining content that reflected the energy of the team and its supporters. We redefined how the club presented itself online by creating content that built loyalty, attracted new fans, and supported the club’s broader ambitions, including its new events business.

Over several months, we developed and implemented a completely new content strategy, reshaped the club’s social media branding, and introduced a focused approach to their content and fan interaction. The impact was clear: Instagram followers grew from 3,500 to over 7,000, monthly reach increased from 5,000 to more than 30,000, and the newly launched TikTok account gained over 4,000 followers in its first two months. Multiple videos surpassed one million views, including several clips that went viral and reached 1.7M, 1.3M, and 1M respectively, with many others achieving over 100K views across different platforms.

Unlike businesses with clear products or services to market, a football club’s content had to connect in a different way. We focused on turning everyday moments like training sessions, behind-the-scenes clips, and fan experiences into shareable, high-impact videos. By understanding what audiences wanted to see and how they interacted with content on each platform, we built a style that resonated across demographics, strengthened community engagement, and elevated the club’s profile far beyond its local following.
